Your privacy and data security are important to us. In these terms and conditions, we explain how we collect, use, and store your personal data.

The responsible processor of personal data for the website www.poide.ee is Pöide Pruulikoda OÜ (registry code 12253640), located at Tolli 25a, Kuressaare, Saaremaa, tel. 5782 1900, e-mail terviseks@poidebeer.com.

1. Collecting data

When you place an order, we only collect the information necessary to complete the purchase:

  • name, telephone number, and email address;
  • delivery address;
  • bank account number;
  • cost of goods and services and payment details (purchase history);

2. How we use your Personal Data

  • Personal data is used to manage customer orders and deliver goods. Purchase history data (purchase date, goods, quantity, customer details) is used to compile an overview of purchased goods and services and to analyse customer preferences. 
  • The bank account number is used to refund payments to the customer. 
  • Personal data such as e-mail, telephone number, customer name, etc. is processed for the purpose of resolving issues related to the provision of goods and services (customer support). 
  • The IP addresses or other network identifiers of online store users are processed by the online store for the purpose of providing information society services and compiling web usage statistics.

3. Transfer of data

  • Personal data is forwarded to the online store's customer support for managing purchases and purchase history and resolving customer issues. 
  • The name, telephone number, and email address will be forwarded to the transport service provider selected by the customer.
  • If a service provider performs the online store's accounting, personal data will be forwarded to the service provider for accounting purposes. 
  • Personal data may be forwarded to information technology service providers if necessary to ensure the functionality of the online store or data storage.
  • Pöide Pruulikoda OÜ is the controller of personal data, which forwards the personal data necessary for payment processing to the authorised processor, SEB Pank AS.

4. Data preservation

  • When a customer account is closed in the online store, personal data is deleted, unless such data needs to be retained for accounting purposes or for the resolution of consumer disputes. 
  • If a purchase is made in the online store without a customer account, the purchase history will be stored for three years. 
  • In the event of disputes related to payments and consumer disputes, personal data will be stored until the claim is fulfilled or the limitation period expires. 
  • Personal data required for accounting purposes is retained for seven years.

5. Security

  • Personal data is stored on Elkdata OÜ servers located in the territory of a Member State of the European Union or a country that has joined the European Economic Area.
  • Data may be transferred to countries whose level of data protection has been assessed as adequate by the European Commission and to US companies that have joined the Privacy Shield framework. 
  • Access to personal data is granted to online store employees who can view it to resolve technical issues related to the online store and to provide customer support. 
  • The online store implements appropriate physical, organisational, and IT security measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorised access and disclosure. 
  • The transfer of personal data to authorised processors of the online store (e.g., transport service providers and data storage providers) It is based on agreements concluded between the online store and the authorised processors.
  • Authorised processors are required to ensure appropriate safeguards when processing personal data.

6. Your rights

  • You have the right to view, correct, or delete your data.
  • You can view and correct your personal data in your online store user profile.
  • If you made a purchase without a user account, you can view your personal data through customer support.
  • If the processing of personal data is based on the customer's consent, the customer has the right to withdraw their consent by notifying customer support by email at terviseks@poidebeer.com.

7. Deletion and transfer of data 

  • To delete your personal data, please get in touch with customer support by email.
  • Deletion requests will be responded to within one month, specifying the period for which the data will be deleted.
  • Requests for the transfer of personal data submitted by email will be responded to within one month at the latest. Customer support will verify your identity and inform you of the personal data to be transferred.

8. Direct marketing messages

  • Your email address and phone number will be used to send you direct marketing communications if you have given your consent.
  • If the customer does not wish to receive direct marketing communications, they must select the appropriate link in the e-mail footer or contact customer support. 
  • If personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes (profiling), the customer has the right to object to the initial and further processing of their personal data, including profiling related to direct marketing, at any time by notifying customer support by e-mail.

9. Dispute resolution

  • Disputes related to the processing of personal data are resolved through customer support at terviseks@poidebeer.com.
  • The supervisory authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (info@aki.ee).

9. Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to update our privacy policy. The revised version will continuously be published on our website.
